At Paws Playland ABQ, dog daycare is more than a service, it’s our family’s lifelong passion. Our journey began over 20 years ago in Santa Fe, New Mexico, when my mom and I opened the doors to our very first dog daycare, PAWS Playland, in 2004. At the time, it was one of the first indoor/outdoor dog daycares in the area, and we quickly became known for providing a fun, safe, and loving space for dogs to play, socialize, and thrive.
Back then, we built a strong reputation by treating every dog like our own, paying close attention to behavior, safety, and creating real relationships—with both pets and their people. That experience gave us not only the skills, but the heart, to build something meaningful and lasting.
In January 2025, we launched Paws Playland ABQ to bring that same trusted care and experience to a new generation of dogs—and dog parents—here in Albuquerque.

Dax just loves coming here. She gets to play with all of her dog friends. She is tired after a long day of non stop play. She gets all the exercise and I get to work in peace, knowing she’s well cared for. Love the fact that they are able to work with my schedule.
A tired dog is a good dog! My 2 year old Rottweiler is a hot mess on my long working days and this is the best outlet for her. Cindy keeps me updated and sends the best photos and videos. I feel so good dropping my girl off in the morning knowing she’s going to have a blast while I’m stuck in an office. I also love the long hours and that I don’t have to worry about if I get stuck at work longer than expected. I know that my baby is safe and taken care of!
This place is the best. The owners really care about the wellbeing of the pups. My Hailee just spent the night there. She came home happy and contented.
